Since it is September, time to pull out our Mom's china and give it a more updated look....
Pat paired the thin, delicate coupe shape of the dinnerware with Noritake's heavier "Iron Brown" ceramic handled flatware
|
To give the porcelain dinnerware a more casual look, Pat used these green chargers from Pier 1 Imports
|
Pat's "go to" inexpensive, simple glassware - from the Dollar Tree
|
The brown centerpiece is an inexpensive clear vase from a thrift store that has been spray painted.
|
One of the remaining pieces - the covered vegetable bowl
|
From the other end of the table
|
Place Mats and Green Charger - from Pier 1 Imports two years ago
Dinnerware - "September Song" by Sango from our Mother
Flatware - "Iron Brown" by Noritake from Walsh's (a local wedding and gift store long out of business)
Glassware - from the Dollar Tree (still available)
Napkins - from Pier 1 Imports last year
Candle Holders and "Greenery" - from Michael's two or three years ago
Candles - from Ross Dress [and Set Your Table] For Less
We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday: http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
"The Scoop Link Party" at Stone Gable: (Here)
This china is so lovely, it has a retro look to it. The tablescape is very pretty with that soft green and the placemats are awesome !

Lovely table, Ladies. I love how you've coordinated the colors and delicate pattern of those dancing cattails. You've honored your Mom's china beautifully.

What a lovely table for this "in between" time where we're transitioning from summer but it's not quite fall yet.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this September settings immensely!!!!!
