There is nothing that I would like more than to have a family Christmas dinner this year - but time will tell if that is possible with a huge spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in our county this week. It might be another "hunker down" holiday if things do not get better.....
Nevertheless, Pat decided to set a Christmas table - one that is fun and practical. She used her everyday Christmas set of dinnerware - 222 Fifth's "Night Before Christmas" (that I have been storing) - as her inspiration for the color theme.
Yes, I have two Christmas trees (actually three if you count the one in the family room) already decorated for the season - I like them up early and then I take them down the day after Christmas. The table is set in traditional red and green colors
"Night Before Christmas" is such a fun pattern to use
Flatware is "Cameo Burgundy" by Cambridge. We found it on sale at Pier 1 years ago
The stand-alone dinner plate can be used as a neat background plate for many different Christmas accent/salad plates that we own
This charger is Hunter Green "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa
This extra larger charger is "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach - it's almost 14" across
Pat used her favorite extra larger glassware - from the Dollar Tree
The napkin rings were our Mother's - it's always special to have something on the table that was hers
The simple centerpiece consists of Santa, of course, and a tree with gifts
Yes, Pat made cotton masks for everyone - triple layered and lined (and washable)
One last look from the other end of the table
