Late Mother's Day Luncheon Tablescape

Pat did manage to get a table together for Mother's Day this week even though it has been a truly hectic and wildly busy time. Sorry it's a little late.....Our Mother's name was "Rose" so Pat always likes to feature roses on the table. Here's what she came up with:
Pat picked my two favorite Fiesta(ware) colors to feature on the table: "Rose" and "Sea Mist". Sadly, neither color is still produced.
The place setting seemed a little "flat" to Pat so she "elevated" it by the napkin fold.

Flatware is "Butterfly"stainless steel by Godinger

Pat just used a simple pre-made flower arrangement for the centerpiece.
Where it came from:
Place Mats - "Hemlock" colored tablecloth/napkins fashioned into place mats from Linentablecloth.com
White Charger - from Maryland China Company (still available but purchased years ago)
Dinner Plate - "Sea Mish" Fiesta(ware) from eBay

Family Breakfast Get-Together Tablescape

Boxed cold cereal continues to be one of the most popular Breakfast choices in the United States with nearly three billion boxes sold every year. Not just for kids, adults love the convenience and the variety. Hard to believe? Yeah, it's true. Some of the most popular cereals include: Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, and Frost Mini-Wheats. Nothing too healthy....Top with full-fat milk and added sugar and you have a heart attack or high cholesterol, or diabetes in the making. Shudder.

Cold cereal is so popular in our extended family that Pat and I had to buy two sets of "Vintage Kellogg" accent plates to set tables years ago. Still using them, Still loving them. (Full disclosure: I haven't eaten breakfast cereal since I was a kid. I am 75 now. Guess you could say it is not so popular with me but I love the plates.) Anyway, Pat set this week's table for a Breakfast get together:

Flatware is one of my favorites: "Decision" by Noritake

One of our first purchases at Pier 1 when they opened the store (seems like a very long time ago) in our area
Pat set up mugs for those who wanted coffee. She used a dinner plate and matching soup bowl ("Mulberry" by The Celler from Macy's 2009-2010) as a stand.

This red bowl is actually a "Fun Factory" footed bowl by Waechtersbach

Where it came from:
Plastic Weaved Place Mats - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond years ago
Yellow Dinner Plate and Matching Cereal Bowl - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Tuesday Morning and Replacements,Ltd.
Black Luncheon Plate and Matching Bread and Butter Plate - "Fiesta(ware)" by Homer Laughlin from Tuesday Morning and Replacements, Ltd.
Accent Plates - "Vintage Kellogg" from Ross more than 15 years ago
Flatware - "Decision" Primastone by Noritake from eBay
Glassware - from Pier1 years ago (Pattern unknown)
Yellow Napkins - from Linentablecloth.com
Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 five or six years ago
Red Centerpiece (Holding Cups) - a gift from Pat years ago
Yellow Water Pitcher - a gift from our much missed Cousin Trev to match the dinnerware
Ceramic Milk Carton - from Ross years ago
