Pastel Easter Table

I can't resist bunnies. I love them. And I love bunny plates. When Pat and I walked into Pier 1 recently (a big mistake, by the way....), we spotted some really cute plates. Even Pat loved them (she is not the "cute bunny" kind of person that I am) - so much so, she bought all they had of them.

It took her no time at all to come up with this week's table:

Anniversary Table

In January, one of my favorite bloggers celebrated her 200th post (Here). Sujatha's blog is always beautiful and unique. I love when she post holidays and celebrations....and the flowers!!!! The tablescapes and the food are always great, too.

After viewing that anniversary posting, Pat and I were immediately inspired to celebrate our anniversary, too. We started five years ago this month. I still think fondly of the many, many bloggers who helped us out in the beginning......Alma at The Tablescaper, Cuisine Kathleen, Alycia Nichols at Tablescapes at Twenty-One to name a few.

We started with an orange-themed table in 2012.  Back then, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing and had a lot fewer dishes to work with. We just thought it would be fun. Well, it still is fun and yes, we have way too many dishes now (I can hear the family groan in agreement.....) So, Pat thanks for the many, many tables that you have set. And here's to a lot more.
Pat wanted to set our Anniversary table in orange. What a color combination - Fiesta(ware) Tangerine and Flamingo

Pat used both orange and pink candle holders

Sunny Springtime Table

With fading thoughts for a bright, rain-free, warm day, it seems like we will never see the sun again. While rain and hail pour down, the wind is blowing Arctic-like cold air from the north. Local rivers are swollen and, in some places, overflowing. Many roads are closed or opened to one lane only with dangerous slides and washouts throughout the county. Uncharacteristic snow is falling everywhere but right along the ocean.....just another "fun" day in the Redwood coastal area of Northern California.

But I digress - this is a tablescaping blog - not a forum on weather. Pat took pity on me this week and set a cheery table so I can dream of sunshine.......
I am soooooo happy with this table because it is bright.

To start the tablescape, Pat loosely layered the table with rows of yellow mesh
