Family Breakfast Table

This week's table was set just for family and fun. Using a set of "cereal" themed accent plates as the inspiration for a breakfast table, Pat pulled in colorful Fiesta(ware) in Turquoise, White, and Daffodil to go with it.

Flatware is "French Rooster" by Cuisinart

The cereal theme accent plates come in four different styles

This is a "White" Fiesta(ware) luncheon plate

Pat chose "Turquoise" as the predominate color - this is a Fiesta(ware) dinner plate

Pat used an old Depression Ware custard cup/sherbet as a juice glass

Yes, I know - salt is a bad habit but it seems our family can't break it......besides, this set from Fiesta(ware) is so cute.

Another look from the other end of the table

Italian Countryside Table

It's not surprising that country style tablescapes are popular. You can pull together everyday dinnerware coupled with things around the house to make a great looking table. That's what Pat did with this week's table.
Pat started with rust colored leather-like place mats that she found at Pier 1 two or three years ago. (Naturally, they were on super sale - regular price was $9.95 reduced to $1.48 and then 20% off that.....) She loves a bargain.

Dinnerware is Italian ironstone from Tuesday Morning. Pat bought three place settings each of the four different patterns

The centerpiece consists of three different wine jugs filled with grapes and greenery

Flatware is "Treble Clef" by Gourmet Settings

Since the place setting required large glassware, Pat used the largest she could find -  inexpensive Dollar Store water and wine glasses

Who doesn't recognize the iconic Fiesta water pitcher? And the unique shape fits a country style table.

Bird Houses and Flowers Tablescape

After two weeks of more formal style tablescapes, Pat was ready to set a casual and fun table. She selected accent plates from Pier 1 as the inspiration to this colorful table:
Pat used four different dinner and bread/butter plates that color-coordinated with the accent plates

Flatware is the very popular "Napoleon Bee" stainless steel by Wallace
