This week's featured dinnerware is another beautiful vintage pattern that Pat found at a yard sale several years ago. It is Noritake "Nanette" - the cream colored porcelain has elegant urns, flowers, and scrolls on the edge. When I first saw Pat's "haul," I couldn't believe anyone would sell this lovely set of china at a rummage sale - much less asking $30.00 for the set. It had nearly twelve complete place settings and all kinds of extra pieces including my beloved cream soups. Well, we treasure it.....
Pat gave in to her younger sister with my weird taste and used the "snazzy" napkin rings that I chose and she hates....
The china is really gorgeous - the picture does not do it justice.
The green glass charger is from our much missed Pier 1 several years ago
Glassware is "Fedora" by Spiegelau
Pat made two small arrangements of silk roses in the gravy boats
Where it came from:
Ecru colored Lace Place Mats - from Lentz Department store (a local store long out of business) years ago
Green Glass Charger - from Pier 1 seven or eight years ago
Dinnerware - "Nanette" by Noritake from a yard sale
Glassware - "Fedora" by Spiegelau from Replacements, Ltd.
Gold Flatware - Pattern unknown from eBay years ago
Green Hemstitched Napkins and Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 years ago
Chiffon Napkin Overlay - a gift to me from Pat many, many years ago
This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
Stunning, Ladies! I do love Noritake, and this is a beautiful color combination. Thanks for the flowers-in-the-gravy-boats idea - I'm going to try that! Hope you have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteWow! Yes that china is absolutely lovely! I really like the "dressed" napkins, too - and as Barbara mentioned, using the gravy boats for flower vessels was inspired!
