Although the table this week is not a typical Winter's tablescape, looking at it sure helps fight back some of the January depression. What is termed "an atmospheric river" is slamming into California right now - heavy rain, strong winds, and severe flood warnings throughout the state along with landslides, impassible roads and hazardous surf warnings. To make matters worse, those houses that have been "yellow tag" due to the earthquake (livable but lots of damage) may not survive the damaging winds and storm.
Well, while I still have power, I am going to post this week's table.
I am not a big fan of Fiestaware, but this bright "Daffodil" does make me smile. I need that right now.Flatware is satin finish "Vault" by Gourmet Settings
