Thanksgiving Day Tablescape

The inspiration for this week's table came from the once popular dinnerware "Autumn Monarch" by Johnson Brothers. It's a discontinued pattern with a scalloped fruit lined border and a turkey in the center. Even though we will not be having a family get-together this year (and we may soon not be doing tablescapes since our County has moved to the second highest COVID restriction tier,)  Pat wanted to set a table that was family friendly and might have been used.
Pat started with a plaid tablecloth

Flatware is Italian-made "Roma" by Domus Design

The "Chocolate" Fiesta(ware) luncheon plate was added for extra color

Glassware is brown "Woodland" by Fostoria

The double napkin is held by a wire pumpkin in brown, tan and amber

Pat arranged wooden pumpkins for a simple centerpiece

One last look from the other end of the table

Where it came from:
Plaid Tablecloth - from Tuesday Morning a few years ago
Charger - from Pier 1 several years ago
Dinnerware - "Autumn Monarch" by Johnson Brothers from Replacements.com
Luncheon Plate and matching Bread and Butter Plate - "Chocolate" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 years ago
Flatware - "Roma" Brown by Domus Design from Horchow a three or four years ago
Glassware - "Woodland" Brown by Fostoria from Pat's collection
Centerpiece Wooden Pumpkins - from Pier 1 three years ago

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. Ladies - I immediately went ahhh, when I opened this post. This is such a warm and wonderful table for Thanksgiving. Everything is perfect. The tablecloth is a great base without being too busy and allows the other elements to shine. I hope your area doesn't have to implement stronger restrictions; I would miss your posts so. Please stay safe and healthy.

  2. Your Thanksgiving table is lovely and I hope you'll enjoy seeing it all set and ready, even though you can't have a big gathering this year. Stay safe and well!
