[Vegan disclaimer, family oddball, and supporter of non-dairy milks and cows everywhere: I haven't had a glass of milk since I was a child. Non-dairy milks are a healthy, environmentally sound, cruelty free, and economical choice for people with dietary or other intolerance restrictions or for those so enlighten who wish to avoid the hormones, pesticides, antibiotics and contaminants in the white lactation secretions Nature intended for a calf. Sorry, I just can't help myself....]
To make me "less annoyed" at the dairy month theme, Pat decided to set a more formal table to celebrate the beautiful Holstein. |
The centerpiece is flanked on each end by arrangements of silk roses |
Pat used both a black and a white napkin held by a simple black napkin ring and decorated it with a single, silk apricot rose |
Flatware is Kate Spade's "All in Good Taste" by Lenox |
The charger is "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa |
Pat used black glassware to coordinate with the black and white theme |
Although we did not use cups and saucers, I wanted to show the shape |
Lovely apricot roses adorn our centerpiece Holstein |
From the other end of the table |

Who know there was cowhide patterned china? Not me, but it looks amazing on this table. I love the rose wreath on the centerpiece, too. It's a fun table even for those of us (me included) who don't drink milk.
ReplyDeleteNow this is different, and really cute!
ReplyDeleteHow "udderly" charming! At first glance it looks like a sophisticated black and white table, but then you realize it's a cow pattern with a giant cow centerpiece!! This is so totally fun and fabulous, I juts LOVE it all! The apricot orange roses are the icing on the cake or should I say cow patty!
