White on White Tablescape

This week's table features one of my very favorite vintage patterns: Hutschenreuther's "Racine (1900-1986)." It has slightly embossed scalloped rims that look so fragile but are really pretty tough. And it is pure white which is somewhat out of the norm for me - I usually choose a "busy" pattern.

Pat decided to feature all white for the table to show off the dinnerware.
All white with a hint of silver.....

Flatware is "Plantation" silverplate by Oneida

From the other end of  the table
Where it came from:
Lace Place Mats - from Lentz Department Store (a local store now out of business that featured elegant lace)
Dinnerware - "Racine" by Hutschenreuther from Replacements.com and eBay
Flatware - "Plantation" by Oneida from our Mother
Glassware - "Fedora" by Spiegelau from Replacements.com
Vintage Napkins - from Art & Old Things (a local antique store)
Napkin Rings - from Art & Old Things
Silver Candle Holders - from Pat's collection

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/ "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. One might think an all white tablescape would be boring, but not this one. So much texture! It's elegant without being stuffy. A beautiful table.

  3. Sublimely beautiful! I have my Great-Grandmother's Haviland Ranson which is a doppelganger for your china. One can't go wrong with white flowers, tablecloth and silver accessories with this china. Well done!
