Fiestaware Table to "Beat the Winter Blues"

To follow through on our pledge to not do anymore dark Winter tables for a while, Pat set this week's table with sunshine in mind (even though it is pouring buckets outside - water everywhere, rivers flooding, dams overflowing and not one ray of sunshine in the sky....):
Not a hint of Winter in this table.....

Flatware is "Silver Tear" by Gourmet Settings

We have been looking for covered soup bowls for a while....but were too cheap to buy them. THEN - we walked into Pier 1 last year, and on the super sale shelf, we found eight of them for 98 cents each. Bonanza!!!!

The color in the picture is not quite right - this is actually "Lemongrass" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin

The dinner plate is "Cobalt" (Post '86) Fiesta(ware)

One of my favorite chargers, this is "Sun Yellow" Color Spectrum by Mikasa

Pat used this lively placemat with its blue, white, yellow, and lime colored stripes as her inspiration

  3. I have vintage Fiestaware from my mother and grandmother and am always looking for ways to do tablescapes with it. Anyone know of any blogs that feature Fiesta?
