Vintage Pink Table

No more bunnies! They've been put away for a year.....This week's table is a definite departure from last week. Pat decided to "dress it up a bit" using vintage and good will items from around my house.

The table

Dinnerware pattern is La Rose by Mikasa. Pat's daughter found it on sale at the Good Will store in her hometown.

Glassware is assorted Depression glass

This massive glass bowl is over 14" wide and nearly 8" tall - it weighs a ton. I just had to have it after finding it at an antique faire in Fortuna one year. Of course, Pat made me park the car at the other end of town so that we could get a bit of exercise in by walking around town and, naturally, we had already hit the big Library book ("Bag of books - $1.00) sale. So, I trudged and dragged myself with three gigantic bags loaded with books and this bowl for nearly a mile......... I never forgave Pat for the exercise.

Pat took assorted Depressionware creamers and sugar bowls and used them as small vases. This pattern is "Tea Room" (1926-1931) by the Indiana Glass Company
