Close up of the place setting

Pat had to mix the flatware up a bit......much to my dismay - way out of my comfort zone
Pat chose this wild accent plate as the starting point for the table this week
Next layer is a simple rimmed white salad plate from Kohl's
Next is the ever present Fiesta dinner plate - this time Post 1986 Cobalt Blue. I swear the plate is brand new even though it looks battered in this photo.
I love these chargers - not one of Pat's favorites, but she used it anyway
Simple, over sized glassware from the Dollar Store
Down the center......
Pat bought herself a present the other day - this fantastic rolled bowl from our favorite local antique store
Then Pat used six blue and white Dansk candle holders to carry out the blue and white theme
One last look at the table from the other end

I had to laugh a little when you said you can't do a table w/o a piece of fiesta dishware...with me, it's purple. Your table is wonderful...I love the blue and white and those chargers are stunning...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it,
Christine
Oh my, I love this table for sooo many reasons. The mixed flatware, the chargers that go so well to bring out the edges of the fabulous centerpiece bowl, and those absolutely stunning accent plates. Wow. This table is magazine worthy!! Great job ladies. It's stunning for sure. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteI always smile when I see a table set with a blue and white theme, but this one even more so. The interesting layers on the striking blue mats really sets the stage. A+ on this one! Outstanding for sure! ~ Sarah
