Jungle Tablescape

What a crazy week: severe deadly snow storms, Ted in and out of Cancun, COVID-19 deaths at half a million, Donald's taxes fair game for New York to investigate, the pillow guy gets sued, some nutcase on the FOX network disparages and ridicules the First Dog [surely there is more "pressing" news out there, FOX], and the list goes on....So Pat felt we needed a fun table - one that makes you not only feel good to look at but to use "someday.
The great accent plates are "Jungle" by Sakura

Flatware is "Bamboo" by Cambridge

Of course, Pat has to use Fiesta(ware) because there are so many colors available - this one is "Chocolate" - first introduced in 2008 and discontinued in 2012.
The charger is  a "Meadow" Fiesta(ware) chop plate introduced last year and still available

These glasses are so fun - from Pier 1 years ago
I didn't think that we would ever find a use these napkin rings (from Bed, Bath, and Beyond years ago) but they are perfect for this table
The centerpiece is simple greenery and rust colored candles

One last look from the other end of the table

Where it came from:
Reversible Place Mats - from Pier 1 several years ago
Charger and Bread/Butter Plate - "Meadow" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate and Appetizer Plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Dinner Plate - "Chocolate" Fiesta(ware) [2008-2012] by Homer Laughlin from Macy's years ago
Accent Plate - "Jungle" by Sakura from eBay
Flatware - "Bamboo" by Cambridge from Ross years ago
Glassware - "Tortoise" from Pier 1 seven or eight years ago
Napkins - from LinenTablecloth.com (an online site for table and wedding supplies)
Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond a few years ago
Rust Colored Candles - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local store that used to sell all kinds of neat kitchen supplies)

his week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
