Summer Flowers Tablescape

Although the temperature outside is currently 55 degrees (it's 10:23AM) and is expected to "soari" to 59 degrees this afternoon, Pat wanted to set this week's table in a more normal summer weather theme. Also, she wanted to show off our new color of Fiesta(ware) dinnerware that we recently purchased. The new color this year is "Lavender" and (just what we don't need is more dishes especially Fiestaware), we had to get this color.

[Intervention confession time: I just counted the assortment of Fiesta colors that we own with at least eight dinner plates in each color........38.  Yes, that's thirty-eight. And we own luncheon, salad plates, and bread/butter plates in most of those colors and that's not counting the bowls, salt and pepper shakers, candle holders and other assorted pieces. Good heavens!]

Where it came from:
Table linen - Handmade by Pat to coordinate with the dinnerware
Lavender chargers - Thrifted plastic chargers spray painted to match dinnerware
White charger - "White" Fiesta(ware) chop plate from Replacements,Ltd.
Floral dinnerware - "Vera" Designer's Choice by Coventry from Ross years ago
Luncheon plate - "Lavender" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements,Ltd.
Bread and Butter plate - "Poppy" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements,Ltd.
Flatware - "Musee" by Reed & Barton from Horchow several years ago
Glassware - from the Dollar Tree years ago but still available
Vintage candle holders - from Pat's collection

Formal Fun Tablescape 2026

This week's table features an unusual set of embossed leaf dinnerware from the Maryland China Company that we bought several years ago. While it looks great on a table, in all honesty it is not the most practical set of dishes to use due to the texture on the plate and the uneven rim.

Where it came from:
White Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Dinnerware - "Embossed Leaf" from the Maryland China Company seven or eight years ago
Charger and Matching Bread and Butter Plate - "Claret" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate and Appetizer Plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements,Ltd.
Flatware - "Antique Baroque" by Wallace Silversmiths from Horchow ten years ago
Glassware - "Amber Crackle" from Pier 1 many years ago
Claret colored Napkin - from Linentablecloth.com
Gold Beaded Napkin - from eBay last year
Glittered Claret and Gold Napkin Ring - from Pier 1 seven or eight years ago
