Last of Summer Sailing Tablescape

Our Niece Maya was tasked with designing and setting this week's tablescape. Her inspiration came from a set of place mats she found in our collection that hasn't been used in a very long time. For the dinnerware, she chose "Shell" by Otagiri and teal blue crackle glassware from Pier1.

Thoughts of Paris Tablescape

Our great-niece, Maya, came up with this week's tablescape. She used cork board Parisian-style place mats as the inspiration for the design and then set the table using modern, clear glass dinnerware by Pasabahce and black flatware and glassware to finish it.

In a twist of the norm, Maya used the bread and butter plate as a liner for the individual covered butter dish

Gray and Pink Tablescape

This week, Pat selected a paisley-like grey and white place mat that she purchased several years ago from Tuesday Morning as the inspiration for the color theme on this week's tablescape. She chose light gray chargers (inexpensive plastic thrifted ones and then spray painted them with plastic adhesive spray paint matching the gray on the place mat) and mixed it with Dansk's slate "The Burbs" and "Pearl Pink" from JCPenney dinnerware to create the tablescape.

Transition to Fall Tablescape

Pat set a casual, rustic style table this week that makes you know Summer is coming to an end. She used a traditional mix of dinnerware: Pier 1's "Sunflower Bloom," Fiesta(ware) "Daffodil," and Mikasa's Royal Blue "Color Spectrum." She blended these with a more modern look: "Pendulum Platinum" flatware by Robert Welch and "Blue Reflection" glassware from the Imperial Glass Company.
