Transition to Wintertime Table

Thanksgiving is past - time to move on to Winter tables......so this week's table is our first of the season. Pat used a plaid place mat as the inspiration for the place setting.

A collection of small, green trees were used for a simple centerpiece - they are easily removed when food is served.

Flatware is "Woodland" by Cambridge from Tuesday Morning three or four years ago

Covered soup bowls are from Pier 1 - one of our bargains - we paid 99 cents apiece on the sale rack.

This is a "Scarlet" Fiesta(ware) Buffet plate - the rim is slightly different from a Luncheon plate

The dinner plate is "Evergreen" Fiesta(ware) [2007-2009]

Pat used a white Fiesta(ware) Chop plate for one of the chargers

The other charger is a "faux" wooden one from Pier 1

Large, inexpensive glassware is from the Dollar Tree

  1. Oh, I do love plaid! Those plaid placemats are the perfect beginning for a pretty holiday table.
