First Tablescape of Christmas

It's time to set the table with a Christmas theme. Of course, we did not want anything too traditional, so here's what we (well, mostly Pat) came up with. She started with a beautiful and unusual Nativity scene called "Mahogany Miracle" by Enesco made from Parastone in the late 1990's from my collection and went from there. The colors are teal, turquoise, gold, and black.

I must confess that the pictures are somewhat dark - we are into the middle of a very bad storm that is expected to drop 6-9 inches of rain in three days. No matter what I did or what time of the day, it was still dark in the dining room. So, first of all, my apologies and secondly, let's hope we still have power when I hit the "publish" button on this post.

Close up of the place setting. A black napkin is wrapped around the teal colored one.
Pat used teal colored goblets from Pier 1 and black Artland wine glasses from Replacements
The flatware is one of our favorites - Gold Iconic by Wallace
The gold salad plate is from Pier 1 this year
The matching teal dinner plate is also from Pier 1
You can't tell from the picture but the charger has a gold leaf finish - quite pretty.
And the placemat from Pier 1 is gorgeous

Pat raised the nativity scene on a black covered board and used gold netting
