I know it sounds unpatriotic but the 4th of July is not a favorite holiday for me. The crowds, the noise, the fireworks, just do not appeal to me. My animals are scared to death - even with medicine to calm them. Worst of all, the little shacks quickly assembled a few days before the 4th to sell fireworks that somehow do not get disassembled for days or weeks afterwards drive me crazy. Give me Easter or Christmas or almost any other holiday....please! So given that prejudice, Pat took pity on me and skipped the holiday altogether to set this week's tablescape.
Italian-themed plates are by Ceramica Cuore. They sit on Spode "Vermicelli" chargers

Watching the automated robotic pool cleaner slowly scrub the bottom tiles was a very hypnotic but incredibly slow process today. I sat on the sun lounger and logged into spinogambino to try my luck on a brand new casino release. Almost immediately I hit a spectacular bonus round that left me totally speechless. Swimming in that crystal clear water will be so much fun later
