Pat counldn't resist using another Noritake pattern for this week's tablescape. This time she chose Noritake "Stanford Court" (produced from 1986 thru 2000) and used stainless steel flatware to make the table less formal.
Flatware is "Musee" by Reed & Barton
The charger is "Color Spectrum Rose" by Mikasa
Glassware is slightly whimsical "Sphere" from Pier 1
This is actually a cigarette holder but Pat uses it to hold after-dinner mints
Where it came from:
Gray Textured Place Mats - from Pier 1 four or five years ago
Charger - "Color Spectrum Rose" by Mikasa from eBay and Replacements,Ltd.
Dinnerware - "Stanford Court" by Mikasa from our collection
Flatware - "Musee" by Reed & Barton from Horchow several years ago
Glassware - "Sphere" from Pier 1 many years ago
Pink Napkins - Handmade by Pat to match the charger
Gray Napkins - from Linentablecloth.com (mail order still available)
Napkin Rings - PVC pipe cut into 3/4" rounds and spray painted to match the charger
Candle Holders - from our Depression Glass collection
This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
Oh I LOVE This table, Ladies!! The pink and grey together are so soft and beautiful, and with the flowers, the whole effect is stunning! I'd never thought to use that color combination, but now I'm completely inspired. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Noritake and your wonderful design skills!
