Wedgwood Edme Tablescape

For something different this week, Pat and her daughter set the table using a cream and black place mat for the inspiration. Wedgwood "Edme" was the natural choice for the dinnerware. Called a "true tableware icon," by Replacements, Ltd., this pattern was produced for over 100 years and remained very popular through out that time. It mixes well in casual as well as formal tables.
Pat used just a hint of color on the table - the Armani figurine holds small pink roses so she added small arrangements of roses on each end of the table to complement it

Flatware is Black "San Remo" by Hampton Forge

A set that we use a lot, the glassware is "Midnight Black" by Artland

From the other end of the table

Where it came from:
Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Charger - Black "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from Replacements.ltd.
Dinnerware - "Edme" by Wedgwood from eBay, Replacements.ltd., and any antique store that we can find it
Flatware - Black "San Remo" by Hampton Forge from Horchow a few years ago
Glassware - "Midnight Black" by Artland from Target years ago
Black Napkin - from Linentablecloth.com (a mail order company that sells inexpensive table and wedding supplies)
Silver Napkin Ring - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond years ago
Candle Holders - from our Depression Glass collection
Figurine - by Armani from our Mother's collection

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
