As Summer is drawing to a conclusion, Pat decided to make the most of the remaining days. She set this week's table using colorful dinnerware that we found at Pier 1 eight or nine years ago. The pattern is called "San Marino" and it is a sturdy, vibrant ironstone that brings life to the table.
Unlike a lot of people, I am not a big fan of a yellow and blue combination, but the addition of a little yellow here, I think, brightens up and adds to the tableThe bright white napkin is held by a yellow napkin ring (made from PVC pipe cut into 1" rounds and spray painted with yellow plastic adhesive spray paint)
Flatware is large, shiny stainless steel "Vintage Countryside" by Ricci
The perfect glassware - inexpensive goblets from the Dollar Tree

Very cheery table, I especially like your candleholders. I really look forward to your weekly posts, thank you for them.
ReplyDeleteThe ironstone is gorgeous. What a fun pattern and so timeless. I think the pop of yellow is wonderful. What a clever idea to use PVC pipe and paint it - it is so hard to find napkin rings that match.
ReplyDeleteYes, the bits of yellow pull out the yellow in the pattern on the dinnerware, it's a very happy table but moving towards the colors of fall.
