This week's table doubles as a Springtime tablescape and a table to celebrate Mother's Day. Pat used Royal Doulton's everyday "Brienne" and paired it with Cristal D'Arques-Durand's pink "Rosaline" goblets. With the help of the gorgeous gift of "Grand Colonial" sterling silverware that was given to me by my also "dish addicted" cousin Trev, the table is sweet, simple and just right for Mother's Day.
Nothing fancy or ornate - just uncomplicated and simpleThe "Grand Colonial" flatware has a "clean" design that mixes perfect with the place setting

So pretty! This table makes me think of my maternal grandmother, who LOVED pink. And pink Depression glass gave me my start in collecting things for my table, so I'm always happy to see pink glassware used in a tablescape. Happy Mother's Day to all!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful china, flatware and glasses, all in pink, which I love for Mother's Day ! Very inspiring to create one for my 91 year old mom.
ReplyDeleteI love it !
Happy weekend ahead.
