Pat wanted to set at least one table for the Halloween season - I'm not a big fan of this time of year so it really didn't thrill me, but I must admit I do like the finished table. It's a lot of fun and we need some of that right now......
The centerpiece sits on black tulle
Flatware is Kate Spade "All in Good Taste" by Lenox
A resin skeleton hand holds a small black luncheon napkin
The salad plate is "Spice Route Sesame" from Pier 1
Pat used a lighter dinner plate - this time "Spice Route Salt" from Pier 1
The charger is black porcelain "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa
Pat used the same glassware as last week because the straight side of the glass went with the flatware
Pat took the same "hand" as the napkin ring and turned it into a votive holder
The "spells book" was a great find at Pier 1 three years ago - on the sale shelf for 75% off. Pat raised it slightly by using glass blocks covered in black material topped with a couple yards of black tulle
We found these neat candle holders at TJMaxx three or four years ago
Just a reminder........
One last look from the other end of the table
Black Charger - "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from eBay
Dinner Plate - "Spice Route Salt" from Pier 1 last year
Salad Plate - "Spice Route Sesame" from Pier 1 several years ago
Bread and Butter Plate - "Black" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Flatware - Kate Spade "All in Good Taste" by Lenox from Wayfair four years ago
Glassware - "Sensa" by Schott-Zweisel from Pier 1 last year
Small Black Luncheon Napkins - from Tuesday Morning three or four years ago
Skeleton "Hand" - from Michael's years ago
Centerpiece Book - from Pier 1 two years ago
Skeleton Candle Holders - from TJMaxx three or four years ago
This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
Fun table for sure. Since my grandchildren won't be visiting my house this year around Halloween, I think I'll leave that stuff packed away and just focus on fall decorations. I do love the warm fall colors this time of year, but the black and white of your table is very effective. Love all the skeleton hands!
