Winter Blue and Green Tablescape

Pat chose an informal table in blue and green for this week's blog using lots of "stuff" that we have purchased from our local Pier 1 over the years. (We are still feeling quite melancholy about the coming loss of our store in the near future....so Pat just wanted to use some of their dinnerware.)

Pat found the flatware at an out of town Tuesday Morning years ago

The accent plate mixes with lots of different colored dinner plates

We found the dinner plates ("Essential Colours") at Pier 1 at least ten years ago

From Pier 1, naturally, a few years ago

The goblets are "Diamond Point" by Indiana Glass Company

Another Pier 1 purchase a couple of years ago.....you can see why we are going to miss our local store.....

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Sage Green Charger - from Pier 1 three years ago
Dinner Plate - "Essential Colours" from Pier 1 at least ten years ago
Accent Plate - "Celeste" from Pier 1 at least six years ago
Flatware - Dark Green "Sofia" by Hampton Forge from Tuesday Morning five or six years ago
Glassware - "Diamond Point" by Indiana Glass Company from our collection
Ruffled Green Bowls/Side Dish - also from the Indiana Glass Company
Teal Blue Lanterns - from Pier 1 two or three years ago

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. Oh, this is SO pretty! I was tempted by those green chargers recently (on sale), but resisted. I love this table!

  3. Oh, how pretty! I love the blues and greens together and my eyes immediately were drawn to the ruffled green bowls. (which I know didn't come from Pier 1 but that's beside the point.) I hate to see the Pier 1 stores closing anywhere, they are such a good resource. Hopefully you can find some good "closing sale" buys though.
