Pelicans By the Sea Table

This is the last of Pat's weekly "sea" themed tables. It's been quite a challenge for her coming up with different looking tables while using the same tablecloth and netting each week. I think that Pat finished with my favorite....

This time the place setting is a bit more rustic

The satin finish flatware is "Vault" by Gourmet Settings

Although you can't tell, the pelican stands out in relief on the plate

We've had the dinner plate for years - "Almond Martillo" from Pier 1

Pat used two chargers - this one is a "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) chop plate by Homer Laughlin

By using this charger, it gives the place setting more prominence on the table

A work horse in our collection - glassware is from the Dollar Tree

The rope napkin rings came from Michael's years ago - less than a dollar apiece.

Pat made up three candle holders for the centerpiece

Each candle holder has an assortment of shells, sea glass, and driftwood on sand

One last look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Rustic Wooden Chargers - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Blue Chargers - "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plates by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Dinner Plates - "Almond Martillo" from Pier 1 four or five years ago
Accent Plate - from Pier 1 two years ago
Bread and Butter Plates - "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Glassware - from the Dollar Tree (still available)
Satin Finish Flatware - "Vault" by Gourmet Settings from Costco years ago
Tan Napkins - from Tuesday Morning last year
Napkin Rings - from Michael's years ago
Glass Candle Holders, Candles, Shells, Net, etc. - from Michael's, Pier 1 and TJMaxx

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. I've enjoyed these tables, and I think maybe this is my favorite, too. I love the pelicans! And the centerpieces, and the colors...Makes me wish I was at the beach.

  2. I love this style a lot. the table looks impressive & unique. when I bought a house last year, I tried to get the idea for decoration. I think I have found out on this post. Thanks!
