Modern Prussian Blue and White Table

Six years ago, Pat and I bought a set of simple white rimmed everyday dinnerware from Kohl's to have in our "arsenal" of tablescaping supplies. The idea was to have a basic plate to build or mix a place setting in any style. Needless to say, the dinnerware mostly sat on a shelf and was rarely used. Yes, we pulled it out occasionally and tried to incorporate it into a tablescape, but we were never successful - until today. Using just one accent color and keeping it plain, Pat set this week's table in a modern, sleek and upbeat style.

The simple lines of the flatware follow the simple lines of the dinnerware

The unique napkin rings came from Pier 1 two years ago

Although Mikasa calls this charger "Royal Blue" it is definitely Prussian Blue

Glassware is "Reflections" by Imperial Glass of Ohio from Replacements.com

The centerpiece consists of three small vases of blue silk hydrangeas
