Coalport Revelry Formal Table

This week's table was set using Coalport's "Revelry" (1970-1993) which features white cupids on a blue band around the gold trimmed rim. Pat (and, unfortunately, now my entire family) refers to the pattern as "Birdcage" named after the hilarious movie starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. If you have seen the movie, you'll understand why - I'll leave it at that......but it is a lovely pattern and makes a beautiful table.

Flatware is "Gold Iconic" by Wallace

The first layer of the place setting is a bouillon cup (or small cream soup bowl) and liner

Pat and I found these light blue glass chargers at Pier 1 a few years ago

Another bargain - we found the "Lady Diamond" crystal glassware at Ross several years ago

Pat was delighted to find the vase in the same pattern two years ago at TJMaxx

  1. Well, I haven't seen the movie but I love this table. Blue and white is one of my favorite combinations, and those blue glass chargers seem to have been made to use with this china. Just lovely!
