Fiesta(ware) and Crayons Tablescape

As you can tell, Pat and I are not ready for Autumn yet. Here in Northern California, we are blessed to enjoy some of our best weather during late September and October. The weather is pleasantly warm, the wind is calm, the skies are clear, and "all is good with the world." So this week's table reflects that.....we are celebrating the beautiful weather with a very colorful table  - and one that Pat has wanted to do for a very long time.
Every place setting is set with a different color of "Fiesta" dinnerware

Flatware is inexpensive see-through acrylic by Cambridge from Ross years ago

Pat wanted to use a simple glassware pattern since the table is so colorful

Pat used an acrylic napkin ring - once again, to not draw attention. Notice the crayon napkins.....

Candle holders are made from aluminum cans, hot glue, and crayons.......(and burned fingers.....)

What could be more lively that six different colored candles on the table?

Place holders/napkin rings are chalk board

"Sunflower" Fiesta(ware)

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:

  1. Your table is so much fun! I love all of the colors, and using the crayons is just inspired. This would be a happy setting for children or adults. You two do manage to find the most interesting fabrics for napkins!

  2. Outstanding theme and tablescape! It's beautiful and makes me want to find a coloring book and get busy! Love it!

  3. Love it, love it, love it! This table totally put a smile on my face and I didn't know where to look first! A great explosion of color (you gotta love the vibrancy of Fiestaware!). Bravo! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

  4. Fun, fun, fun! Thank you so much for linking up and sharing at Dishing It & Digging It. We enjoy seeing your creativity each week! :)

  5. That is one of the cutest and most creative table settings I've seen in a while! The crayon print napkins and the wonderful candle holders are just perfect with all the different solid colors of Fiesta ware. I love this one!

  6. Super cute, especially for back to school time! I love the crayon candlesticks!
