Persimmon Orange Halloween Tablescape

Pat decided to do one more traditional Halloween tablescape and wanted to use orange as the primary color. Instead of the familiar bright pumpkin orange, she chose a slight variation - persimmon orange - to set the table this week.
Over view of the table

The place setting - Pat used textured "Wicker" by Oneida and "Persimmon" Fiesta dinnerware

Flatware is "Classic Bead" stainless steel by Reed & Barton

The placemats have a soft, slightly velvety feel

Every tablescaper's "work horse" glasses - from the Dollar Store

Pat took a large ceramic pumpkin soup tureen that we bought years ago and turned it into a candy bowl. (I promise - the glasses are squeaky clean, Pat. The only time the sun barely shined was when I took pictures. Otherwise, it has been raining ---- which is great for the drought, but not much help for my crummy photograph skills.)

Coordinating pumpkin soup bowls without the lids were placed around the table holding additional candy

Have you ever noticed? Pictures of candy that someone "chubby" like me takes are always in focus - you can read every word on the label. It must be a skill of some kind.......
