Winter Eclectic Tablescape

I love the word "eclectic." It's a more formal and socially acceptable way to say that we wanted to use stuff that we haven't used before or in a very long time for this week's tablescape. Besides, it was great fun (and sometimes surprising) to pull out dishes and glassware that have been relegated to a back shelf or the garage for a very long time.
Over view of the table

The place setting

Flatware is Argent "Sofia" Green

Pat used a sage green placemat to "anchor" the setting followed by a wicker-like mat to add texture

We've had these chargers for a very long time - "Vermicelli" by Spode. Originally we bought them to go with Pat's Spode "Buttercup" dinnerware

Sorry the picture isn't too good - the plate is actually a dark olive green

The accent plate has olive green, teal, gold, red, and orange. We bought them to use with several of our more colorful dinner plates

We've also wanted to use this water goblet for a long time - "Diamond Point" by the Indiana Glass Co.

Pat took the small vegetable/berry bowl in the same pattern as the water goblet and used it as a tea light holder

One last look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Sage Green Placemats - Tuesday Morning
Wicker Placemat - Pier 1
Yellow Charger - "Vermicelli" by Spode from Replacements.com
Olive Green Dinner Plate - "Spice Route" Clove from Pier 1
Accent Plate - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Olive Green Napkin - Tuesday Morning
Gold Beaded Napkin and Napkin Ring - Pier 1
Sage Flatware - Argent "Sofia" by the Hampton Forge Co. from Tuesday Morning
Olive Green Water Goblets and Tea Light Bowls - "Diamond Point" by Indiana Glass Co. from eBay
Wine Glasses - "Entertain" from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Grapevine Balls - Ross and Pier 1
Candle Holders - Kohl's several years ago
Greenery, Candles and Tea Light Candles - Michael's
Metal Coffee Pot - from the garage

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  4. I think it looks great! Are the accent plates marked? I have been looking for some that have both teal and orange, and these look like they might work.

  7. I always go hunting for your tablescapes first on Tablescape Thursday, and you never disappoint! I love the colors you have put together. I'm drooling over that flatware, especially. I also love the way you have coordinated the wicker placemats with the grapevine balls. Well done, ladies!!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
