Oatmeal Plaid Tablescape

The inspiration for today's winter table came from a tablecloth that Pat recently bought at Tuesday Morning. The color theme is tones of brown with a splash of ginger:
Over view of the table - the tablecloth is a light oatmeal plaid

The place setting

Sterling silver flatware is "Grand Colonial" - a gift from our wonderful cousin

The place setting starts with an oatmeal colored napkin wrapped around a beige one held by an oyster shell napkin ring

The small accent plate is actually an over-sized saucer in the "Luna" pattern by Calvin Klein (sorry, the picture is terrible but the plate is a gorgeous deep brown mahogany)

The salad plate is "Ginger Spice Route" from Pier 1

The dinner plate is "Sesame Spice Route" - our Pier 1 carries this pattern in four different colors

The latest addition to our charger collection is this hand carved wooden charger

The five piece place setting of "Grand Colonial" - you can also see the detail in the tablecloth
Matching brown water and wine goblets are "Expresso" by Lenox

Pat used just huge pine cones for the centerpiece

One last look
Where it came from:

Glassware - "Expresso" by Lenox (a gift from my niece)

Napkin Ring - from Pier 1

We will be joining Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch" this Thursday:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  4. Your table is wonderful! I'm happy to see someone put some of that gorgeous brown Calvin Klein dinnerware to good use. I kept staring at it every time I'd go to Tuesday Morning up here but never bought any, even when it went on clearance.
I'm new to your blog (your other blog) and am really enjoying your tablescapes.
