Lenox Rutledge Tablescape

Lenox first produced "Rutledge" in 1939 and it has remained a very active and popular pattern since then. It is versatile and can be set for casual as well as formal tables.
Pat set this week's table featuring green. Here you can see it where she used orange: "Orange Dots"

The flower "dots" are painstakingly applied by hand

Pat thought it would be fun to use these since we decorated the table with some of our Mother's accent pieces. The glass hurricane candle holders belonged to our Dad. He always use them to decorate the house at Christmas time.

Pat used some of our Mother's "Gainsborough" by Crown Ducal accent pieces to decorate the table.

Talk about nostalgic.....the glassware is "Esprit" from Princess House. Both Pat and I collected it years ago....

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Green Place Mats Napkins - from Pier 1 several years ago
Dinnerware - "Rutledge" by Lenox from eBay and Replacements.com
Flatware - "Windsong" by Oneida from eBay
Glassware - "Esprit" from Princess House (both Pat and I collected this pattern over thirty years ago)
Gold  Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Assorted Accent Pieces - "Gainsborough" by Crown Ducal from our Mother
Glass Hurricane Candle Holders - from our Dad years ago

  1. I remember this pretty china from your "Orange Dots" post, I was amazed at the tiny flowers so expertly painted. They look very pretty with the green accents, too.

  2. Oh, Ladies, you had me at your Mom's accent pieces and the painted flowers on these Lenox plates!! I watched that ADD video and laughed so hard, my husband asked, "WHAT are you watching?!" Honestly, I related to that lady so well. Thanks for starting my day with such fun. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
