Sunny Bright Tablescape

This week's table is in complete contrast to the weather outside - the wind is blowing, the rain is pouring down, and it is dark and gloomy. So a bright cheerful tablescape is just what we needed.

Royal Doulton Brienne Luncheon Tablescape

I ;have always said that inspiration for a tablescape comes from some of the oddest places. This week's tablescape (and possibly several more) came from a mixed bush of small flowers purchased at Michael's years ago that Pat found laying off to the side in the garage. She loved the pastel colors and thought we might have some dinnerware in similar or coordinating colors. Hence this week's place setting:

The inspiration.....

Spode Lavender Delamere Bouquet Tablescape

This week's table features a lavender floral pattern called "Delamere Bouquet" produced by Spode from 2014 through 2016. It was manufactured in several colors - most have been discontinued. Pat blended lavender with various shades of purple to created the tablescape.

Valentine's Tablescape 2025

Pat wanted at least one Valentine's tablescape this year [she loves the holiday ...for me the word to describe how I feel about the holiday is "meh," or "apathetic" or even "bah humbug"] so she set a traditional red and white one that's simple and sweet to satisfy her fondness for the day.
