Lenox "Wheat" Autumn Table

This week marks the last of our Autumn tablescapes. We are more-than-ready to begin setting some Winter/Christmas tablescape. So this week, Pat used a set of dinnerware she recently found at a store around the corner from her gym (See - I was right when I said going to the gym is dangerous. Just what we didn't need was another set of dishes, Pat.) Anyway, they are beautiful and look great on a table. Produced by Lenox from 1940 to 1982, coup style "Wheat" has a gold wheat center with a thin gold trim around the edge. It is simple and classic.
Not wanting a formal table, Pat started with a burlap place mat and used a rustic napkin.

The centerpiece is an assortment of amber glass and grapevine balls.

Flatware is one of Pat's favorites - Green "Sophia" by Hampton Forge, Ltd. Company

Since the antique gold charger is over 14" wide and makes most dinner plates seem "lost" on it, Pat used a second charger - "Sage Green" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin.

Glassware is "Espresso" by Lenox

Lenox Interlude Autumn Tablescape

This week's table is a collaboration between Pat and our Great-niece, Maya. While Maya chose the pieces and then created the place setting, Pat designed the centerpiece. Me? I watched, pet the cat, and drank coffee and ate licorice.....I kept busy.

The chargers are actually a "Colonial Red" (somewhat dark not this bright red. I tried to get a better picture to show a more accurate color but was hindered by the dark, gloomy and very rainy weather outside)

Autumn Harvest Tablescape 2025

Pat set this week's table for a simple, quick family dinner. Nothing special or unique - just easy-to-access dinnerware, flatware, and glassware put together with a centerpiece made from autumn vegetables found in my refrigerator and pantry. Of course, the "vegetable candles" (a gift from our great-niece, Maya) set the inspiration for the centerpiece.

The copper "hammered" flatware is by Hampton Forge from Horchow.
The accent plates are ironstone "Harvest Village" from Pier 1
Last week, Pat used the salad plate to this pattern - "Spice Route Clove" from Pier 1
I promise this napkin was ironed - but I took the picture much later in the day after the table was set.

Another Autumn Tablescape 2025

With Christmas right around the corner (and my favorite holiday of the year), Pat wanted to set a few more Fall tablescapes. This week's table features another Johnson Brothers seasonal pattern - "Autumn Monarch." mixed with a Fiesta(ware) "Paprika" chop plate used as one of the chargers and an assortment of pieces from Pier 1.
Pat used the quintessential Autumn colors for the table: browns, golds, oranges, and greens.
