Pat started with these fabulous checked capiz placemats from Pier 1
Next she added a square gold leather mat
The black Mikasa Color Spectrum charger was topped with a gold dinner plate
Elvis sits on a black Waechtersbach salad plate
The lines in the flatware coordinate with the lines in the dinner plate
Black glassware is from Artland Glass Company
Notice how Pat placed the glassware in a very atypical way - directly above the plate
Flatware is Gold Ionic by Wallace Silver Company
The candle holders are black Depressionware glass
The napkin fold consists of a black napkin, an ivory napkin, and a gold overlay
Pat used Elvis playing cards to "decorate" the flower arrangement - the centerpiece is made from black Depression glass from L.E. Smith Glass Company and sits on a goldleaf charger
Pat put these beaded gold votives around the table
"Be still my beating heart......."

Black and white paired with gold. I'm going to remember that. Lots of black and white in my cupboards. ;-) Love the capiz placemats. Wish I had seen those. Thanks for sharing your beautiful table and Happy Birthday, Elvis!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the late Elvis! You gave him a great tribute with your beautiful table...Christine
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the most creative table of the week! What a great idea! I know Elvis would have approved - the table is so glamorous! Love those black and white chargers - they are stunning! Happy Birthday to Elvis from me (a little late - lol)!
ReplyDeleteI did know that it was Elvis' birthday! One of my sisters and cousins were huge fans of his. We even had an EP Club, but I said the letters stood for Environment Pollution Club -- not such a fan! Those plates are something special!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tribute to Elvis...beautiful table. Thanks for sharing.
