Noritake Momentum Springtime Tablescape

For this week's table, Pat mixed ultra modern-styled Noritake "Momentum" dinnerware with pink  Depression glass "American Sweetheart" (1930-1936) by MacBeth-Evans Glass Company.
The table is set in various tones of pink and gray

Flatware is satin finish "Kyoto Frost" by Holister
Pat often uses sherbets for serving shrimp cocktails or appetizers before a meal

We used this charger last week but it worked well with this week's dinnerware, too.
I love it when Pat uses this once very popular glassware set - "Esprit" by Princess House. I remember how many "crystal parties" I attended to get a complete set of them....

Since we used cups and saucers on the table, Pat set out two different sets of Depression Glass sugar and creamers
The centerpiece consists of four vases (actually "Lady Diamond" highball/tumblers by Cristal D'Arques) with pink silk roses. People always ask about why we use silk flowers so much - sadly, with another year of predicted drought following several years of record breaking dryness in the past, flowers in the yard are becoming a rarity....silk flowers do not need water to be beautiful.

Springtime Mother's Day Table

This week's table doubles as a Springtime tablescape and a table to celebrate Mother's Day. Pat used Royal Doulton's everyday "Brienne" and paired it with Cristal D'Arques-Durand's pink "Rosaline" goblets. With the help of the gorgeous gift of "Grand Colonial" sterling silverware that was given to me by my also "dish addicted" cousin Trev, the table is sweet, simple and just right for Mother's Day.
Nothing fancy or ornate - just uncomplicated and simple

The "Grand Colonial" flatware has a "clean" design that mixes perfect with the place setting

The charger is Rose "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa
Pat used all three sizes of goblets that we own for the table

Pat used a simple arrangement of greenery for the centerpiece

Sandpiper Tablescape

This week's table makes me appreciate that I live in a coastal town with access to miles of striking sandy shores and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. We have many secluded beaches with ancient Redwood trees growing to the shoreline. It's a gorgeous site to experience.

Flatware is "Antigua Frost" stainless by Towle

The first charger is a "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin
The "rope" stainless steel chargers are from Pier 1
Glassware is "Espresso Brown" by Lenox
Pat found this really neat material at JoAnn's a few years ago and thought it would make great nautical and western napkins.  Here she used two napkins (the other one is matching tan) held together by a "rope" style napkin ring.

The centerpiece is a large boat-shaped salad bowl from Pier 1 filled with netting and shells
