Springtime Yellow and White Tablescape

This week's table is set with dinnerware that makes me smile every time I look at it - the pattern is called "Sunny Branch." Pat and I bought the set six years ago from Pier 1. The yellow and white combination make for a fun place setting and cheery table.

Flatware is "Primary" by Noritake

The bright yellow charger is "Sun Yellow" by Mikasa. It took me almost three years to acquire eight of them. Thank goodness for Replacements.com.

Pat used simple Dollar Tree glassware and added more color by placing the napkin in the water glass

Anniversary Tablescape

April 22nd would have been our parents 73rd anniversary. Although they are gone, we owe so much to our wonderful parents - they were hard working, loving, kind and welcoming. We never heard harsh words from either one of them. Our home was filled with lots of people, laughter, good food and many, many animals. To remember them, Pat wanted to celebrate their day by using the last gift our Dad bought Mom for Mother's Day.
Pat set a simple table using "Eliza Teal" by 222 Fifth

Flatware is "Antique Baroque" by Wallace

Pat chose the etched glassware to go with the Armani figurine because the lines remind her of wind blowing

I just wanted to show the cup and saucer

This is the last gift to our Mom from Dad twenty-one years ago - Mom loved Armani figurines

Pat made small arrangements of roses for each side of the table since Mom's name was Rose
