Spring Is Around the Corner Tablescape

Pat's daughter was in town visiting this weekend and, naturally, she joined us as we set this week's tablescape. Well, if truth be told, she actually designed and set this week's table......and naturally, she used her favorite dinnerware.
Of course, the table was set with lots of "Fiesta(ware)" by Homer Laughlin

Flatware is "Cobalt Blue" Primastone by Noritake

Taking her cue from the place mat, Pat's daughter used "White," "Turquoise," and "Periwinkle" Fiestaware

The charger is a "White" Fiesta(ware) chop plate

Glassware is simple and large - from the Dollar Tree

The blue lanterns are from Pier 1

Looking Forward To Spring Tablescape

With daffodils breaking through the ground outside, Pat decided it was time to set the table in anticipation of the coming of Spring. She used black and white as the foundation - one of her favorite combinations - and then used yellow and white daffodils to accent it.

We picked up these black and white accent plates at Pier 1 last month - right after they announced they were closing. Heartbreaking.

Another Pier 1 purchase - we bought the black satin finish dinner plates last year.

The charger is a "White" Fiesta(ware) Chop plate

Yes - from Pier 1 one or two years ago.....

Pat bought the black satin flatware at Bed, Bath, and Beyond

Good grief - how can we survive without Pier 1.....found these black tumblers there years ago......

Mardi Gras is just around the corner. Time to set the table to celebrate "Fat Tuesday" - the last night of eating hearty before Lent.
Nothing subtle about this table....assorted colored metallic-like finished plates, gold flatware, teal crackle glassware
