First Easter Table 2025

Easter is on the way! It's my second favorite holiday and tablescaping theme (after, of course, Christmas!) Pat took pity on me and let me have my way by setting this week's table in a bunny theme. Dinnerware is "Peter Rabbit" by Zrike. We found it last year at TJMaxx and just fell in love with it.

Baby carrots in a bowl at each end go perfect with the meal
I love this plate!

Glassware is from the Dollar Tree many, many years ago
The bread and butter plate is part of my Fiesta(ware) "bread/butter" collection. It is "Forest Green" produced from 1951-1959. I have over 40 colors and still collecting.......

Sadly, the porcelain eggs in the centerpiece bowl are cheaper than real ones,

Nearly Spring Tablescape

With another gusty, wet storm forecast to being soon, Pat want to "slip in" a bright Spring-like tablescape for this week. She used Myott's "Forget Me Not" dinnerware (one of her favorites) and gave it a more updated and sleek look using two chargers and a simple centerpiece.

Our go-to glassware to add some more color - from the Dollar Tree

Not exactly a charger but Pat likes to use a Fiestaware chop plate as a substitute. They come in all the famous Fiesta colors so they work well with most place settings.

Getting Ready for St. Patrick's Day Tablescape

With St. Patrick's Day just two weeks away, Pat set this week's tablescape to pay tribute the Irish saint just like millions of people around the world.
Sorry the color is "off" a little - we had a brief respite in the downpour and during the lull, the sun came out for literally one minute - I grabbed the camera.

The Irish Soda bread was make by Pat in the traditional way - a cross was cut on top to "let the fairies out"
The centerpiece consists of various root vegetables common in Ireland and definitely part of time-honored a "corned beef and cabbage" meal.

The gorgeous footed bread boards were hand-crafted by one of Pat's exercise coaches. Absolutely beautiful and amazing especially since he is legally blind. It is unbelievable what people can do when they challenge themselves.
Where it came from:
Burlap Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Dinnerware - "Cabbage" by Bordallo Pinheira from various places (Ross, TJMaxx, eBay, Replacements,Ltd., Tuesday Morning)
Glass Tumbler - "Our Table" from Bed, Bath and Beyond
Beer Mugs - from the Dollar Tree (always available)
Flatware - Pattern unknown from our Mother's everyday collection
Napkins - from Linentablecloth.com
Cabbage Napkin Rings and Centerpiece Wooden Bowl - from Pier 1 five or six years ago
Wooden Candle Holders and Tapers - from Michael's
