With St. Patrick's Day just two weeks away, Pat set this week's tablescape to pay tribute the Irish saint just like millions of people around the world.
Sorry the color is "off" a little - we had a brief respite in the downpour and during the lull, the sun came out for literally one minute - I grabbed the camera. The Irish Soda bread was make by Pat in the traditional way - a cross was cut on top to "let the fairies out"
The centerpiece consists of various root vegetables common in Ireland and definitely part of time-honored a "corned beef and cabbage" meal.
The gorgeous footed bread boards were hand-crafted by one of Pat's exercise coaches. Absolutely beautiful and amazing especially since he is legally blind. It is unbelievable what people can do when they challenge themselves.
