Pat used a "Mulberry" Fiesta(ware) appetizer plate as the bread and butter plate

Simple, inexpensive glassware to tone down the "rustic look" of the table

Although Pat didn't use the salad plate this week, I wanted to show it. The pattern is identical to the dinner plate
|
After she finished setting the table, Pat and I dashed to Costco to pick up fresh fruit for the centerpiece (except the grapes - they are from Michael's!)
|
Pat made two small flower arrangements using "Mulberry" Fiesta(ware) Gusto bowls that match the bread and butter plates
|
These small grape clusters are actually Christmas ornaments we purchased years ago and then attached to 1" PVC pipe that was spray painted

What perfect ideas to use with "Reynolds"! How can I NOT adore all of this with Reynolds being my last name? I own only three bread plates in this pattern (an eBay purchase in the days before I had a grandchild and when I had a full-time job). I display one of those plates on the top shelf of a wonderful built-in bookcase in the living room. It seems mysterious way up there and people ask about it. One other plate is cozy on the maple hutch in the family room. The third plate is in what I call 'protective custody' packed away safely, in case of breakage!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ladies! I love your table. Not only does the centerpiece look luscious and appealing, but you've highlighted your "Reynolds" Spode dishes perfectly using a purple hue as accents. The plates are similar to the Spode pattern I used on my table this week ("Gainesborough"). So perfect for fall. Enjoy the season for decorating!

Well, I have now found a new china pattern to love! Those "Reynolds" plates are wonderful, and perfect for this time of year. Your centerpiece echoes the plate design beautifully and I love the grape cluster napkin rings. I'd love to sit down to this table.
