Halloween Pirate Days Tablescape

Four or five years ago, a lot of tablescapers were using "skull" plates for Halloween. We just left ours on the shelf  "for later." Well, later is finally here - Pat pulled out the plates and set the table in a pirate theme for Halloween.
The tablecloth (made from specialty fabric from JoAnn's Fabrics)  was the inspiration for the table design.

Flatware is "Meridian Satin" by Cambridge

For the first of two chargers, Pat used "Chinese Red" lacquer chargers that matched the red on the tablecloth

Pat wrapped the napkin around the charger so that it wouldn't be in the way

Pat first tried black tumblers but decided on stemmed goblets

Pat loaded the "treasure chest" with lots of jewelry and gold chains

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Tablecloth - Pirate material from JoAnn's Fabrics years ago
Twill wrapped Metal Charger - from Pier 1 three years ago
Chinese Red Charger - Inexpensive lacquer charger spray painted with plastic adhesive spray paint
Black Dinner Plate - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Tuesday Morning three or four years ago
Accent Plate and Matching Mug - "Skulls" by Coventry (2009-2012) from Ross several  years ago
Bread and Butter Plate - "Skulls" by Signature China from Ross several years ago
Flatware - "Meridian Satin" by Cambridge from Bed, Bath, and Beyond this year
Glassware - "Midnight Black" by Artland from Target and Replacements.com years ago

  2. Oh, what fun! My Dad would have loved this table, his name was Roger and he always "claimed" the Jolly Roger theme. I love the candleabra with the black candles, and the treasure chest overflowing with "jewels". As usual, every detail is perfect. Happy Halloween!
