Autumn Leaves

It took us about two seconds to decide that we did not want to do another Halloween tablescape this week - we both wanted something seasonal but no pumpkins (and absolutely no more straw this year!) So, with that in mind, this is what Pat came up with:
Over view of the table

The place setting

Flatware is one of our absolute favorites - "Image" by Spode. It is simple, sleek, and really nice to use.

First layer of the place setting - these bowls have been sitting in the cupboard for a couple of years. Pat thought they would add interest to the table since they come in four different colors.

The Chocolate Fiesta Salad plate acts as the Leaf Soup Bowl liner

I love these plates! My absolutely favorite person at Pier 1, Rayleen, helped me pick them out.

Pat used a simple brown charger to hold it all

The five piece flatware place setting

Bulky, gold napkin rings add the right "weight" to the napkin fold

The brown "Expresso" glassware by Lenox was a gift from my niece

Pat used smaller leaf bowls in assorted colors for votive holders

The centerpiece is a simple candle arrangement

One last look from the other end of the table

  1. This table just epitomizes fall! I love those leaf bowls in all of their glorious color, and the dark brown goblets are lovely. You've got me thinking about Thanksgiving table settings now -- I too am ready to move on from Halloween hues!

  2. Fall is a wonderful season and your table reached out to get the colors correct. Also love your chairs around the table.

  3. This is a very beautiful table! You always do such a great job. Linda

  4. Perfect fall tablescape. You've got all the colors of changing leaves. Well done!

  5. Awesome tablescape (and I like your chairs too)

  6. What a gorgeous fall table. Those bowls would be full of soup if they resided in my house, right now!
    Have a wonderful week...

  7. Beautiful table! Love the leaf bowls.

  8. I love the subtle colors of your table that still manage to reflect the beauty of fall. You've chosen everything wisely. Just beautiful!

  9. Beautiful table, love the colors.
