Memorial Day Tablescape

We are joining Cuisine Kathleen's Let Dish (http://www.cuisinekathleen.com/) Memorial Day Challenge this week - the theme, of course, should represent Memorial Day. So, Pat chose the very patriotic colors of red, white, and blue, and set about to complete the tablescape.
Over view of the table

The place setting

The Patriotic Star print napkin surrounds a simple white one held together by a flag napkin ring

Flatware is part of the "Colonial" collection by Warren Kimble for Sakura

First layer of the place setting is a Cobalt Fiestaware Salad Plate

Pat followed that with a White Fiestaware Luncheon Plate

The Dinner Plate is also Cobalt Blue Fiestaware

The square charger is by 10 Strawberry Street and is actually an oversized dinner plate in this pattern

The five piece place setting

Pat added patriotic colored glassware

You can see the detail of the napkin ring

Pat considered a large flower arrangement for the centerpiece but settled on a flag arrangement with small arrangements on each side

Inexpensive silk carnations from Michael's add just enough color. Pat placed a blue glass plate underneath to bring out the color

Red, white, and blue votives circle both flower arrangements

One last look at the table from the other end

Where it came from:
Tablecloth and Placemats - Bed, Bath, and Beyond
White Square Dinnerware - by 10 Strawberry Street from Pat's collection
Cobalt and White Fiestaware - by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Replacements
Flatware and Napkin Rings - Our Mother's
Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Red Goblet - from Pier 1 two years ago
Blue Wine Glass - from Pier 1 last year
Champagne Trumpet Glass - pattern is called "Selection" by Cristal d'Arques from Ross
Blue Glass Liners - by Bormiolo
Red, White, and Blue Votive Holders and Votives - Bed, Bath, and Beyond
White Square and Rectangular Vases - Michael's last year
