Mikasa Silk Rose Luncheon Tablescape

For this week's table, Pat used a set of dinnerware originally purchased from a local thrift store [set of nine place settings including a few completer pieces for only $10.00] and had planned to re-thrift it after using it one time. But the "dish gods" intervened and showed Pat the potential for many more tables using the pattern. We kept the dinnerware and added it to our way-to-large collection and the rest is history......

Mikasa "Silk Flowers" was produced from 1980 through 2006, What makes it unusual is the octagonal shape and the subtle pink and teal/gray color.

Where it came from:
Square Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning years ago
Dinnerware - "Silk Flowers" by Mikasa from a local thrift store
Glassware - "Rosaline" by JG Durand from Replacements,Ltd.
Flatware - "Musee" by Reed & Barton from Horchow years ago
Silver Butterfly Napkin Rings - from Tuesday Morning eight or nine years ago
Pink and Gray Napkins - from Linentablecloth.com
Round Pink Tray - "Rose" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from a local antique store
Crystal Flower Basket - from Art & Old Things (another local antique boutique long our of business)
Silk Roses - from Michael's

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
