Formal Lenox Holiday Christmas Tablescape - #1

As I wrote last week, we are now in "Christmas mode" and decided to start posting Christmas tablescapes since this is our favorite time of the year. Apologies to everyone who may dislike such an early start but we ask you to forgive us - we're old (i.e. doddering), set in our ways (some would say mildly senile), and most importantly, we have dozens of sets of Holiday dishes that are begging to be seen.....
We start our Grand Christmas Adventure with what I consider the quintessential affordable Christmas dinnerware - "Holiday" by Lenox. Our Mother started purchasing this pattern in the 1970's and then Pat and I continued to add to the collection. Not as affordable today, but still gorgeous....
Pat set the table in a more traditional, colorful family friendly style

Flatware is "Antique Gold Baroque" by Wallace

Pat used her signature look - two chargers since the deep red charger is almost 14" across and made the place setting look lost.

Where it came from:
Ivory brocade tablecloth - from a local Department store long out of business
Deep Red Lacquer chargers - from Target years ago
Dinnerware - "Holiday" by Lenox from our Mother's collection
Flatware - "Antique Baroque Gold" by Wallace from Horchow several years ago
Red Goblets - from Pier 1 many years ago
Gold Napkins and Red Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 many years ago
Deep Red Glittered Centerpiece Cones - from Costco five or six years ago
Santa - from TJMaxx this year
Green Champagne Trumpet Glass - from the Designer Series by Judal from Replacements

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
