Cabana Parrott Tablescape

Pat chose a "no particular theme" theme this week and set the blog's table with a fun set of accent plates from Pier 1 that we bought seven or eight years ago. The pattern is "Cabana" and features a multi-colored embossed parrott on a ceramic plate with a bamboo edge. She paired it with Juliska's "Classic Bamboo" dinner plates and her signature double chargers. It makes for a colorful and fun tablescape.

Flatware is "Bamboo" by Cambridge

I love the simplicity of the dinner plate - it complements and enhances many different accent plates.
The first charger is a "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin
The over-sized second charger is "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach

Simple colorful glassware from the Dollar Tree adds more color.

Where it came from:
Leaf Place Mat - from Pier 1 several years ago
Charger - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Replacements,Ltd.
Second Charger and matching Bread/Butter Plate - "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) Chop Plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements,Ltd.
Dinner Plate - "Classic Bamboo" by Juliska Ceramics from our collection
Accent/Salad Plate - "Cabana" from Pier 1 seven or eight years ago
Flatware - "Bamboo" by Cambridge from Amazon nine or ten years ago
Blue Goblets - from the Dollar Tree several years ago
Bamboo Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 six or seven years ago
Wooden Candle Sticks and Candles - from Michael's several years ago

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. I absolutely love this super fun tablescape! You did such a great job coordinating all of the various pieces. My Jimmy Buffett loving family would love those parrot plates, too!

    1. We, too, love Jimmy Buffett. I think the world is a little less happy now that he has passed. Not quite "Parrotheads" but a big fan, Cynthia.
