Crayon Tablescape

With a large outbreak locally this last week in our community of Covid-19, Pat wanted to set a fun table to "lighten the mood" a bit and help boost morale. She got out her sewing machine and extra material and set to work. Here is what she came up with:
Colorful and fun is how to describe this table - and while it won"t be used, it was fun to set and spend some time with Pat

Flatware is "Queensgate" by J. A. Henckels

Pat started with a shiny apple

A Fiesta(ware) "Lemongrass" Fruit/Sauce bowl held the apple

The other Fiesta(ware) colors used on the table are "Scarlett," "Daffodil," and Peacock. The Bread and Butter plate is "Mulberry,"

The charger is from the Maryland China Company (mail order)

Glassware is "Picardy" from Pier 1 several years ago

Yes, matching masks - you know Pat's sense of humor and it's very "pandemically correct" - makes a great Dinner favor for guests.

The centerpiece is a large bowl of Crayola crayons

Always attention to detail, Pat used coordinated-color candles in crayon lined candle holders

One last look from the other end of the table

Where it came from:
Red Place Mats - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Chargers - from the Maryland China Company several years ago but still available
Dinnerware - Assorted Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's, Kohl's, and Replacements.com
Flatware - "Queensgate" by J. A. Henckels from Costco two or three years ago
Glassware - "Picardy" from Pier 1 several years ago
Napkins and Matching masks - Handmade by Pat
Centerpiece Bowl - from Art & Old Things (a local antique store)
Colorful Candles - from Ross Dress For Less five or six years ago
Candle Holders - Handmade using hot glue, crayons, and a clean empty cat food can

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
