Tartan Christmas Tablescape

I originally called this week's post "Tartan Plaid" but was quickly corrected - in Scotland (home of the "tartan") plaid is actually a blanket or large piece tartan material. So, duly corrected, the table this week mixes tartan and black to create a different Holiday table.

Even Santa is dressed in tartan

Where it came from:
Black Faux Leather Place Mat - from Pier 1 six or seven years ago
Metal Tartan Charger - from Pier 1 this year
Matte Dinner Plate  - from World Market years ago
Tartan Accent/Salad Plate - from Pier 1 this year
Bread and Butter Plate - "Black" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Flatware - by Cambridge from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Red Stemmed Goblet - from our collection
Green Champagne Trumpet Glass - "Designer Series" by Judal from Replacements.com
Napkin - Also from Pier 1 this season
Napkin Ring - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond three or four years ago
Christmas Tree Centerpiece - from Michael's years ago

  2. I love all the tartan, and the way it stands out against the black. Merry Christmas!
